It is located a private road surrounded by woods. You can climb the mountain by cabin anytime, you can even camp in the woods there! During Summer months there is no need for AC because of shade from trees. We have water from a private well, its clean water you can drink and great for the skin and hair. The cabin also has a land line. The cabin is secluded, during winter months/ heavy snow we have someone plowing the road however you might like to park before you enter private road. Its free parking and save. Guest access Guests can access the part of the mountain that is part of my property and hike freely and also camp!! There is cell reception at cabin but we have a land line too. Also garden area and fire pit to cook outdoors. We have extra tables and chairs for outdoors inside shed. You can use anytime. 10 acres of private hiking boundary marks, pink on left and blue on right side. Other things to note Cabin is located on secluded area. There are only 5 more neighbors in the area. Please respect property boundaries.

Located on the property is also a fire pit and a serene pond where you can just sit back and take in the views. We are about a 15 minute drive away from Windham ski resort, less than 30 minutes from Hunter Mountain and less than 40 minutes from Kaaterskill Falls (the most famous Catskill Mountain waterfall). Dogs are welcome but please keep them off furniture. Please bring your own streaming devices if you plan on watching tv. We currently do not have cable, but we do have a LG ThinQ TV that you may use. Also, please bring charcoal if you'd like to grill. Please do not leave any food, beverages or garbage outside. We do not want to attract any wildlife. Nestled just east of the Town of Windham, the house is only a 7 min drive to Windham Mountain and approximately 27min drive to Hunter Mountain. The location is perfect for winter skiing, sledding, and snowboarding. In the fall, hike below the beautiful foliage, and in the spring/summer be sure to check out the nearby mountain biking, golfing, more hiking, antiquing, and local farms & vineyards. The Space: Sleeping Arrangements Sutton Hollow Lodge - Windham has 3 traditional bedrooms including 1 King Size Bedroom (which has a bathroom en suite), 1 bedroom with 1 full sized bed, and 1 King Size Bedroom upstairs. Also upstairs is an open space that has a full bed and a pull out sofa in the case you wanted to sleep 2 more people during your stay for a total of 7 guests to spread out in the home. All bedrooms feature Casper Mattresses (except the pull out sofa upstairs), quality linens and are thoughtfully decorated. There is a Smart TV in the King bedroom, where you can easily sign into your Netflix, Hulu, or other streaming account. Bedrooms have closets with shelving so you can comfortably unpack for your stay. Each room has its own climate control so that guests can adjust to their individual preference. The Kitchen The Kitchen is equipped with all new appliances and finishes as well as cooking utensils, pots and pans, general spices, and basically all the tools you need to make morning pancakes, spaghetti Bolognese dinner, and everything in between. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! Cell service may be hard to come by. You'll have the entire campsite to yourself, as you'll be the only Campers enjoying this piece of paradise. Each campsite includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform, and you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed inside (each site is different, see photos for the exact setup). We got this idea from bathrooms used on NASA spaceships, and we've used the Tentrr Loo countless times ourselves- don't worry! Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days. A mixture of early attic and cool re-purposed treasures, this quiet, quaint Cabin overlooks our 9 acre lake. Reconnect to the natural world. Wonderful for relaxation, peaceful exploration, fishing, artist or writers retreat. Due to the COVID-19 situation we would prefer longer stays however we will consider stays as short as 5 nites. Until further notice, there will be no access available to the main building, no private sessions, and no meal plans. This cabin has a glassed in porch overlooking the lake, complete with rocking chairs; loft, open living area and half bath. Bathroom has a composting/camping toilet, there is also an outdoor camping shower available in a privacy tent (seasonal only). Water containers with pumps provide fresh well water in the kitchen and the bathroom for drinking and washing. The cabin is also equipped with a small refrigerator, a toaster oven, electric kettle, a double burner cooktop and French press. This cabin is cute and funky with lots of charm! We are a plant, wildlife, and butterfly sanctuary! We grow a lot of plants to maintain and support a variety species. Our property is not highly manicured - if that won't work for you, then another location may be more appropriate. There is a path around the 9 acre lake, and although we have an abundance of wildflowers, there many areas to swim. We have puzzles, games, cards etc for those that like to play; also coloring books, sketch pad, colored pencils for exploring your creative side. We are constantly upgrading and improving our cabin -- new artwork, bedding, general coziness and fun stuff! Please note, this is a cabin in the woods and there are wild creatures that live here. There is always a chance that one of these small beings can find their way into the cabin, if this is a problem for you please do not book the cabin. We have other listings that may be better suited to your needs. Please contact us about them. We do suggest that you put all food and drink away as leaving these items out can attract creatures to the building. The cabin is available year-round, it has a rocket stove mass heater. Please note: We provide wood for heating the cabin, but it must be chopped down to kindling size for use in the rocket stove. We have a special tool for this that we leave for our guests. Be sure to bring whatever gear you need to be comfortable outside while using it. Cabin can accommodate up to 4 people. There’s a queen bed, beanbag bed in the loft and a single futon bed. We are working farm, and sometimes have animals that need short term special care. So you may find a baby chicken, turkey, duck, pig or rabbit nestled in a box or tub inside the main building. Lovely swim-able private lake, forest & gardens. Canoeing, fishing (catch and release), and hiking available on our property. Also nearby (2 miles up the road) is a 2500 acre hiking/nature preserve. Full organic meal plans offered separately (and we are happy to pack a lunch for you if you're going to be out and about) -- can accommodate gluten & dairy free and most specialized diets. Please make arrangements ahead of your stay for any meals you would like us to provide. We also offer picnics (with a real basket and everything!) that you can have on site or take on your travels (again, by prior arrangement). Sauna, Ionizing Foot Bath and private sessions (massage, reiki, ear coning, health consults and more) also usually available, please ask for our fee schedule and plan ahead. Other things to note We do have 3 very friendly dogs that will want to be your best friends. Also farm animals that we are happy to introduce you to, baby goat therapy is the best! There will be farm noises, roosters greeting the morning and various grunts and snorts... far less noise than any modern city. We are 25 miles SW of Albany and Albany along with the surrounding areas have many events etc going on. There's hiking, biking, nature parks, horse racing, concerts, festivals and events and so much more. Lots to do in the winter as well! We are close to ski areas (Hunter & Windham), snow tubing and we have snowshoeing and cross country skiing here on our property (as long as there's snow). A 70s-era log cabin on top of Kittle Hill in Margaretville, NY with sweeping views of the Catskill mountains. Explore 13.5 private acres or hike nearby trails, relax by the fireplace or grill on the wraparound deck, and visit Margaretville and other neighboring towns. Peace and seclusion (and plenty to do) in a beautiful part of the Catskills region. Combining mid-century touches with cabin coziness, the house includes two bedrooms with mountain views, a bathroom with a skylight, a kitchen with all the essentials, and a dining room with picture windows great for spotting deer and other wild visitors. The living room is centered around a large stone fireplace and includes a separate office space that’s perfect for WFH (WiFi is fast and reliable as well). Entertainment options are plenty - we have a Roku equipped TV, an eclectic vinyl collection, shelves of books, and lots of board games. The house also has a large deck perfect for grilling and hanging, and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs for lounging in the front yard. Other things to note Dogs are allowed however they are not allowed on furniture or beds and must be picked up after outside. An additional pet cleaning fee of $75 is charged to all guests who bring a dog. All dogs must be registered at the time of booking! The grill is a charcoal grill so be sure to pick some up before you get to the cabin!

Summary: Nestled in among blankets of ferns in a mature pine forest, this campsite features a queen size bed for two and dome pop up tent that will sleep an additional 6 people. The site is a quick walk away from the Little Schoharie Creek with several swimming holes and a 10 minute hike through the forest to the waterfall. Guests should be aware that we currently have one additional campsite on our property. A Creekside RV & Tent Campsite which sleeps 6 in the RV and an additional 4 people in a tent. You need to bring your own tent. This site is available to book through https://www.hipcamp.com/u/forestfarmcampsites. Guests will need to be respectful of their use of public spaces at all times. We request that groups remain in one public area (waterfall, swimming holes, frog pond, etc.) for no more than 2-3 hours at a time. There are numerous places to relax by the water and in the forest. We are confident that we can all work together to ensure that all guests enjoy themselves. This is a family-friendly campsite with the health and safety of our guests at our forefront. Children will love to visit our Fairy & Gnome Glen, featuring fairy/gnome houses and lean-to's made out of items found in the forest. Guests are encouraged to enjoy existing and/or build their own fairy or gnome houses and lean to's. Birdwatchers will enjoy the many species that pass through and live in the forest and along the creek. We have already seen our resident bald eagle four times this spring. No guns, weapons or fireworks are allowed on our property. We provide fire starting materials including kindling, newspaper and matches. We have lots of fun activities options for our guests, including families, onsite and in our surrounding community. We will provide you with a binder of menus and great places to check out. Our site is nestled in the heart of the Schoharie Valley and in the middle of three distinct regions in rural New York, making us a perfect home base to explore all that Upstate NY has to offer. We're at the northern end of the Catskills and Appalachian region of NY, in the south-east of the Mohawk Valley region, 30 minutes from the Capital Region in Albany, NY and 1 hour from the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY.Please note that you may share use of our land with another group, guests at our Creekside RV & Tent Campsite or Mountain View RV Campsite, so this is not a listing for a 100% private experience. This Tentrr site is our most secluded and private site. Guest Access: This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with farmers, ranchers, and other property owners to offer unique outdoor accommodations on beautiful private land. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! You'll have the entire campsite to yourself, as you'll be the only Campers enjoying this piece of paradise. Each campsite includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform, and you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed inside (each site is different, see photos for the exact setup). Larger groups can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided (you’re welcome to bring your own camping gear too). You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. What you should bring: -S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat -A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling -Bedding and pillows -Lanterns and lighting -Firewood for the campfire -Water Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set! Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. Line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag supplied at the camp (or another appropriate plastic bag) prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. We got this idea from bathrooms used on NASA spaceships, and we've used the Tentrr Loo countless times ourselves- don't worry! Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days. Tentrr Extras: These are other amenities, services, or activities that may be provided by your CampKeeper for an additional fee. Please let us know in advance if you'd like to add these to your booking so that we can process payment. Availability of any Extras are not guaranteed and must be confirmed at least 24 hours prior to check-in. Garbage Removal - $8 For a small fee, we will remove garbage and recycling from the site for you after your stay. Mimi's Mushroom Tour - $30 Learn about how and why we grow delicious, nutritious, shiitake mushrooms in our forest - and take home a piece of shiitake mushroom inoculated wood with you to grow your own. Other Things to Note: Pets must be leashed at all times, including at the campsite and hand washing station, as we have chickens and young children in the nearby vicinity. In addition, the fern-covered under-story that makes our forest so magical would be quickly destroyed by an active dog. There are also endangered plant species on the property that we are protecting. Please help us maintain our favorite features of our forest by using the dog tie hooks that are attached to the deck. Interaction with Guests: In the age of social distancing, isolated time can still be quality time - especially when you’re unplugged and out in nature - and we want you to know that the Tentrr team and our hosts are working together to make sure you have a safe and relaxing experience. Our hosts have been doing a great job ensuring our campsites are clean and spotless for your arrival. We ask that you do your part as well - maintain social distancing, clean up after yourselves, and leave no trace - so that everyone in our camping communities can enjoy these cherished outdoor spaces. To limit the potential impact of community spread during the Covid-19 pandemic, we are encouraging our campers and hosts to adopt self-check in procedures whenever possible. To make self check-in easy, Tentrr provides a map to your site and driving directions in an email sent out a few days before your reservation. Please refer to this guide to get to your campsite. As a reminder, it is good practice to give your host a head's up on your estimated arrival time a few days beforehand.
